Intro to COLLAGRAPH Printing

Explore collagraph printing, a versatile printmaking process that uses layering, texture, and everyday materials to create rich, tactile prints. In this hands-on introductory class, Cole Webster will cover the fundamentals of relief and intaglio printmaking and situate collagraph within those traditions.

No prior printmaking experience is required. You’ll design and build your own printing plate using mat board, Mod Podge, and found textures, then learn how to seal, ink, wipe, and print your plate on professional printmaking paper. Emphasis is placed on process, experimentation, and material exploration.
