There's always something happening at Grounded! Home to 18 artists and creative businesses, our space is constantly buzzing with workshops, exhibitions, pop-up events, and creative gatherings. Throughout the year you'll find Maker Markets, steamroller printmaking, Fermentation Fest, visiting artists, gallery openings, movie nights, and plenty of unexpected happenings along the way. Fermentation Fest

Fermentation Fest is an annual celebration of fermentation, food, and learning, organized by Wild Field Farm and hosted at Grounded Printshop. The festival brings together local growers, makers, and educators to share their knowledge through demonstrations, workshops, and conversations about everything from mushrooms and sourdough to sauerkraut, kimchi, vinegar, and other fermented foods. Whether you're just getting curious or already deep into the world of fermentation, it's a welcoming day to learn something new, meet like-minded people, and connect with our local food community.

BIG ART DAY

Big Art Day is one of my favorite things we do at Grounded. It started as a fundraiser for ECAT's Teen Art Club, but it's really become an excuse to get a lot of people together to make something huge. Everyone carves their own woodblock, and then we ink them up and print them using a steamroller. Each year we come up with a different way to connect all of the individual prints into one larger piece. One year we created a giant exquisite corpse, with each block flowing into the next. Another year we built a neighborhood of houses, with the carved blocks becoming the ever-changing windows. It's messy, collaborative, surprising, and a reminder that the best projects are often the ones we make together.
