She is a native to Erie, PA and passionate about paper and printmaking. Influenced by
environmentalism, she seeks to bridge the conversation between art, her hometown, and everyday life.
Fredy Huamán Mallqui
Woodcarver and teaching artist at GROUNDED; Fredy came to the United States in spring 2012 bringing along his wood carving tools that served as extensions of his own hands and his design philosophy.
Growing up in the city of Ayacucho, Peru, he learned wood carving from master carvers at the age of nine and has since developed his own techniques to design, carve and conserve intricate pieces in Baroque, Rococo, Gothic, and Romanesque styles.

Originally from the neighboring city of Cleveland, Alex is a mixed media artist interested in the intersection between community, activism, and creativity.
Ryan Ames
Print Shop Technician.
Self-taught and super generous, Ryan has been nothing but giving of his time as he is eager to help get our tools in tip-top working condition.
He's a natural-born printer and we are lucky to have him on the team!
