About the event
Making paper can be both utilitarian as well as artistic. We will definitely learn how to make blank sheets of paper in this workshop, if that's what you're into but we will also explore what happens when we add things to our sheets like plants, collage material, dust, fabric etc. We will learn how to change the color of our paper through pigments as well as how to "paint" with pigmented pulp. This process involves lots of water and multiple steps. Papermaking is a truly unique process that opens our minds to new ways of making!
This class will run January 9th, 16th and 23rd from 5:30-8:30
