About the event
In this class students will explore the colorful world of natural dye and block printing while creating their own hand-printed textiles.
Together we’ll experiment with plant-based dyes, learn how to prepare and treat fabric for vibrant color, and discover the magic of turning flowers, leaves, roots, and other botanicals into dye baths. Students will carve their own unique printing blocks and use them to create layered patterns and designs on fabric.
This class is all about getting messy, experimenting, and learning slow textile processes that connect art, craft, and the natural world.
